2024 Call for Proposals: Lessons for Librarians in Open Science Principles and Methods

The Lessons for Librarians in Open Science Principles and Methods program seeks proposals for 2024!
Led by the Library's Data Science Center(opens in a new tab)
and funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) as
part of the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program, this initiative
supports continued skills development for librarians in open science by
creating a total of fourteen librarian-focused curricula on the
subject.
Selected curricula will be published online in an unrestricted and freely available manner for reuse and remixing. The lesson modules will be developed and supported through two virtual summer workshops, with feedback from librarians to assess learning objectives.
Each award recipient (or group) will receive $5,000. The deadline for submissions has been extended to February 29, 2024.

The Library aims to fund projects with high potential for subsequent impact on the open science community and invites contributions that explore areas distinct from the six previously selected topics.
