Maggie Tarmey

Maggie Tarmey is the librarian for geography, maps and economics for the Humanities and Social Sciences division within the Charles E. Young Research Library. Before joining the library as a permanent staff member in 2023, he worked at the UCLA Library in various roles as a graduate student employee while completing his MLIS degree specializing in archival studies at UCLA. He is particularly interested in activating library collections via outreach to users. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys watching a wide variety of movies, track and field (ask me about hammer throwing!) and going to the ocean.
