Paying for Fines and Fees
Learn how to pay fines and fees from both the UCLA Library and other UC libraries.
UCLA students, faculty and staff can view and pay library fines and fees with credit card or e-check using Library Payments Online(opens in a new tab). Log in using your UCLA Logon ID(opens in a new tab) and password.
For students, unpaid bills will result in a hold placed on registration, graduation or release of transcripts. You may also receive a referral to a collection office. Charges for equipment will appear on BruinBill(opens in a new tab).
Bills for Extension students and external users can be viewed and paid by credit card or e-check using Library Payments Online(opens in a new tab). Instructions for paying with check or credit card by mail are printed on bills. If paying with credit card via mail, print and fill out the credit card transaction form (PDF)(opens in a new tab) and mail it along with a copy of your library bill to:

Fines from UC interlibrary loan materials will be issued by the owning campus of the item. UC faculty, staff and students should contact the owning campus for payment instructions. Borrowing privileges may be revoked if a user has unpaid fines from other UC campuses.
