The Digital Library Program (DLP) is hosting a weekly instructional design support workshop in the Spring for faculty interested in integrating Library Digital Collections materials, along with digital tools and platforms for inquiry-based learning in their courses.

The Instructional Design Works series will be held in person at the Scholarly Innovation Lab (SIL) and over Zoom (see link below) on Wednesdays from noon - 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. The purpose of this drop-in and semi-programmed series is to connect interested faculty with the technologies, expertise, and support services for innovative curriculum. If we can’t help you, we know someone who can. Topics include:

  • Bruin Learn multimodal lab, assignment, and module design
  • Collections-based inquiry pedagogies
  • IIIF content and tools
  • Digital projects (e.g. Scalar, StoryMaps, etc)
  • 3D, XR, and 360 video
